It was an afternoon of learning and innovation for 19 participants as they embarked on the SIMTech Model Factory tour on 21 March 2019. Organised by the IPC Designers Council (Southeast Asia Chapter – Singapore) and co-organised by Wizlogix, the visit aimed to provide participants with an eye-opening experience in modern manufacturing technologies. Other than touring the facility, the 19 attendees were also given the opportunity to collaborate with SIMTech researchers to test-bed and jointly develop innovative solutions in the future. Through live demonstrations of the MCTTM technologies and sharing sessions, all attendees enjoyed an immersive learning environment to better understand the Sense & Response manufacturing paradigm.
