The course is a follow-up to Basic PCB Design Course using PADS VX. Besides the basic design process flow, participants will learn more in-depth about PADS VX and gain understanding on how to optimise design layout for complex designs. With Wizlogix's two-day PCB Design course, you will gain hands-on experience by performing actual layout procedures. You will be able to learn advanced settings using PADS VX software to become capable of designing high quality and reliable PCBs of higher complexity.

Day 1
1. Set Advanced Design Rules
2. Create Drill Pairs for Blind/Buried/Micro Vias
3. Interactive Routing
Day 2
1. Introduction to PADS Router VX
2. Practical Sessions

Course Facilitator
Ms Wilma Subang
Ms Wilma Subang is a IPC Certified Interconnect Designer (CID) with over 15 years of experience in the industry.
With a degree in Bachelor of Electronics and Communications Engineering in Saint Louis University (Philippines), Wilma joined Wizlogix nine years earlier as a PCB Design Engineer, and is proficient with Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics PADS, PADS Professional, Expedition, and CAM350.
As a testament of her knowledge, she has also conducted customised training for STM focusing on customer design requirements using Altium and conducts training for Basic PCB Design using PADS VX. Having developed PCB designs mainly in the consumer electronics sector, Wilma has designed Class 3 Main boards (for Satellite and Space), printer boards, daughter cards, server/desktop/mobile main boards, flex/rigid boards, RF boards, wearable PCB designs, sensor boards, Handheld main and HDI boards.
