RF Design: Core Concepts and Fundamentals

Analyze and Optimize RF Circuits with WIzlogix

RF Design: Core Concepts and Fundamentals

Gain mastery of RF design essentials with Wizlogix's RF Design: Core Concepts and Fundamentals, the first in a series of programmes intended specifically for RF professionals. This three-day course, brought to you by our partners, Besser Associates, Inc., will teach you how to design, analyze, test, and integrate linear and nonlinear transmitter and receiver circuits and subsystems. By the end of the three days, you will have the basic knowledge required to work effectively with high-frequency electronics.

Sign up now and learn how to analyze and optimize RF circuits in practical situations using analytical, graphical (Smith Chart), and computer-aided techniques. Join us as we examine discrete and monolithic component models in their physical forms, discuss parasitic effects and losses, and discover why circuit elements behave in surprising ways in RF.

You will start off by reviewing filters, resonant circuits, and their applications through filter tables and modern synthesis techniques before moving on to matching networks and filter structures.

You will also understand microstrip and stripline realizations, and observe transmission behavior and component coupling effects using 2D and 2.5D field simulators.

By the end of this course, you will have gained a thorough understanding of RF concepts and be ready to tackle our follow-up courses on specific RF and Microwave circuit and component design.
