Grant Information	Funding support is up to 70% of course fee, funding cap applies. To be eligible for the funding support, the candidate must be local (SC/PR) and must attend at least 75% of the training. Company must commit to 3 months retention of the trainee after the course end date. Company must submit the relevant documents and provide the Outcome Report. These will be stated in the Letter of Award (LOA) upon approval of the funding support. Kindly note that the grant application will require 4 – 6 weeks to process the application. This highly practical two-day course covers all aspects of Hand Soldering and provides all the skills necessary to work on modern electronic printed circuit boards. Training will be given in accordance with some requirements of IPC-7711/7721 "Rework, Repair and Modification of Printed Boards and Electronic Assemblies" and IPC-A-610 workmanship standards.

Participants will acquire knowledge of basic solder techniques and basic understanding of current industry requirements. Participants will be able to demonstrate proper usage of a soldering iron and safe working practices at a soldering station. Successful completion of the course leads to the award of the Competence Certificate by Wizlogix Pte Ltd.
