Funding support is up to 70% of course fee, funding cap applies.
To be eligible for the funding support, the candidate must be local (SC/PR) and must attend at least 75% of the training. Company must commit to 3 months retention of the trainee after the course end date. Company must submit the relevant documents and provide the Outcome Report. These will be stated in the Letter of Award (LOA) upon approval of the funding support.

| Additional Information | More Course Dates: The Certified IPC Application Specialist (CIS) Course is a standards-based certification program with a validity of 2 years. Individuals that have completed the CIS course but have failed to pass a certification exam may attempt to retake the exam after the cool down period of 14 days. Candidates may opt to retest only the failed portion(s) of the certification written examination or the workmanship project, if completed within 90 calendar days following the initial failed exam. Candidates are afforded one complimentary retest of the failed portions of their certification written exam. Any subsequent attempts are subject to the retest fee. Participants are advised to bring your own laptops for online assessment.
Group Discount A group discount of $4,688 per pax will be awarded if a group of 3 or more participants register.

The IPC J STD 001 is the course on Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies. This set of standards describes materials, methods and verification criteria for producing high-quality soldered leaded and lead-free interconnections. Emphasis on this course will be placed on process control and introduced industry-wide requirements for a broad range of electronic connections. This hands-on solder training and certification program recognizes the soldering skills of individuals, through the series of laboratory-intensive modules for surface mount technology, through-hole technology, wire and terminal assembly and the general soldered connection acceptance requirements. Upon Successful completion of this course, Operators will be certified to perform Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies on the IPC J-STD-001 procedures.
