The RF Design: Core Concepts and Fundamentals is the basic course intended for RF professionals. The three-day program will teach participants how to design, analyse, test and integrate liner and non-linear transmitter and receiver circuits and subsystems. The course will also examine discrete and monolithic component models in their physical forms, discuss parasitic effects and discover circuit element behaviour in RF. This will be done through reviewing filters, resonant circuits and their applications through filter tables and modern synthesis techniques before moving onto matching networks and filter structures. Through the course, participants will also be able to describe RF circuit parameters and terms, work with dB notation and transmission lines, use graphical design techniques and identify impedance matching, component models and PCB layout issues.
